Sometimes moody and atmospheric, sometimes fast and frantic, Snacks went from strength to strength in the months following. Close friends took part in many of the jams, bringing with them musical influence from around the globe. The spotlight, it seemed, was on, the audience were listening... and they were not disappointed!
With a string of hits such as "Kwuhfortuem", "Bedroom Creators" and "Carnival Fever", the boys hit home with the awesome "Fed Erachos", breaking major sales records in 17 countries. The newly formed label, Scrooge were quick to spot the band's potential, and from now on they would be responsible for the outstanding quality analog recordings, and later when technology caught up in the seamless Digitally Remastered transfers.
Asked about their controversial song titles, the band replied that only the music was important, and the songs had been named only when Scrooge records had insisted on a means of preservation.
But all dreams have to end, and on the 13th of July '97, Snacks cut their final album, the provocative "13/7/97". Some of the band's members are still performing in various ways, and some are still in touch.
